Adam Cole-Kelly presents: Believe the Hyphen

I have a hyphenated last name that I've used as the basis for the name of my blog which in and of itself is a play on words. Clever's got a new home folks. Make yourselves comfortable.

Fresh Start

I'm starting my job tomorrow. I've never looked forward to setting my alarm so much in my life. So what did everybody think about the Oscars other than Sean Penn deserves a mighty groin-punt? Yeah, that's pretty much all I thought of it too. As Hillary Swank walked to the stage to accept her award the announcer shared the interesting tidbit that "this is the first academy award a female has won for playing a boxer." I think that probably made the moment all the more special for Hillary. I imagine Jamie Foxx felt slighted that as he approached the stage the announcer didn't point out his groundbreaking achievement as the first actor with a six inch tatoo on the back of his head to win best actor.

I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune in the morning after that alarm goes off. If a computer is already set up at work, I'll take a moment off of rubbing my eyes to spout some more nonsense. Until then, stay cool.

Best commercial was definitely for Sierra Mist when they played Rock, Scisssors, Paper. One of the guys broke the sacred rule and claimed that paper beat scissors because the scissors got rusty, crumbled, and then the paper scooped them up. Blasphemy, blasphemy I say. No one changes the rules of R, S, P. The world is round, it spins on its axis, and Rock beats Scissors, beats Paper.

I too was awestruck that Hillary Swank was the first woman depicting a boxer to win an Oscar. But I'm pretty sure she has a six-inch tattoo on the back of her head thereby denying Jamie his groundbreaking achievement.

Did I see Louis Gossett Jr. in the audience? He should get an Oscar for talking his way into a seat.

Anyway, I like the blog. Have fun at your job.

Well ACK, quality blogging comes from people who put the energy into their blog like you have. It was a nice change to land on your blog, lots of others are junked up with useless comments and information. I put a lot of energy into my site, so it does pretty well with stuff. I think I'll re-create my blog because I like what you've done here and want mine to be more like yours. Thanks for the lesson in good bloggin. You get a special bookmark :)

have a fantastic day..

Well, is there something a little weird going on here? I don't know about you ACK, but my blog gets pretty cluttered with spammy comments from people. My advice to you as one blog owner to another, is to be patient and focus on the great things about having a blog, instead of all the junk that goes on. You do have a quality blog and appears that you enjoy it. My favorite web project so far is a surf board site, because I have total control and it makes me a couple dollars here and there. It's pretty hard to find new information on surf board stuff though. Hey, keep up your excellent job ACK, and good luck with your projects..

See ya ~
