Adam Cole-Kelly presents: Believe the Hyphen

I have a hyphenated last name that I've used as the basis for the name of my blog which in and of itself is a play on words. Clever's got a new home folks. Make yourselves comfortable.

Hasta Luego

Hi-ya! (Salutation or karate chop sound? Interpret as you see fit) Holiday madness has reached fever pitch. Good thing I've got some shopping left to do and a handful of hours to get it done, mail gifts out, pack and get to the airport. I haven't mentioned it yet, but I'm going to Cabo San Lucas with my girlfriend and her extended family. We leave tomorrow out of Chicago for six days of fun in the sun. Talk about a hard(ly) earned vacation. There are going to be 16 of us sharing a big house. I've met everybody in her family but have yet to share residence with them. I'll let you know if I pass the test.

Thanks friends who made it out to Hump Night last night. I was more nervous than usual before the show but managed to pull out a set that was nothing short of passable. The audience couldn't have been friendlier, which always helps. Here's looking at you audience members.

Not sure how computer accessible things will be for me in Mexico (read: I'll be damned if I leave the beach to go to an internet cafe). No need to despair, I'll be back scratching irritatingly at your funny bones come December 30th.

Here are some suggestions for how you can fill the extra two minutes you usually spend reading my posts during the time I'm gone.

Make a tray of flavored ice-cubes (cran-apple perhaps?)

Freeze a bottle of say cran-apple juice then break it into assorted chunks

That's all I could come up with. Damn tunnel vision.

Two quck questions:

Are any non-#2 pencils still manufactured and if so how stubborn are those companies?

Speaking of shitty pencils, what was the dude who invented erasable pens thinking?

That stuff killed when I played the Office Depot corporate retreat.

Awesome Christmas to all who celebrate it, Joyous Kwanza to the rest of you.

Infusing all the Holiday cheer I can into this font, Adam

Oooo, oooo, you know what would be funny? Do ya', do ya'? While you're in Cabo San Lucasville you should pronounce everything wrong and in a really weird accent. You know, instead of saying bon voyage you should say bone voe yaggy. Then, when people ask why you're talking like that, tell them "When in Rome". Do it, do it.

It's about that time of the year again! I found a good place to get the pto snow blower for cheap... But there are times of the year that I think it would just be easier to live in Florida.
